Schlüter KERDI polyethylene waterproofing membrane
Schlüter®-KERDI is a waterproofing membrane made of soft polyethylene. Its main feature is the ability to "crack bridging", i.e. to act as a bridge over cracks. The sheath is provided with a special felted fabric on both sides, which guarantees a secure grip with the glue. The presence of a centimeter graphic on the Schlüter®-KERDI sheath facilitates cutting to size directly on site. In addition, the amount of material left on the roll is indicated on the edge of the sheath, providing a practical indication for inventory control. The minimum space recommended for overlapping the sheets is also highlighted, allowing for correct installation. Schlüter®-KERDI was specifically designed as a waterproofing system to be installed directly under the floor or wall covering in ceramic or natural stone. Its main function is to prevent water penetration and protect the underlying structure from damage caused by humidity.
